Pulpit Rock
      Out Standing in its Field

Of all the rock formations in the Garden of the Gods, I think Pulpit Rock is the most true to its name. When I notice it - it’s easy to ignore - I am reminded of those firebrand preachers down through our American Story.

As I said, Pulpit Rock is easy to miss. It’s totally overshadowed by the neighbors.

But there it is, a short ways from the trail. You’ll see it once you leave the Sentinel Rock “plaza” on your way to Cathedral Spires and Three Graces. Take a moment and listen. Maybe you’ll hear the echoes of a great sermon.
