#1 Tourist Attraction
in Colorado Springs

Welcome to Visit Garden of the Gods - your Virtual Visitor Center.

What should we see first
at the Garden of the Gods?

As a Garden of the Gods "insider", I get that question a lot. But does it really matter?  Just start somewhere and enjoy.

NOTE:  We are firm believers that you can thoroughly enjoy the Garden of the Gods without spending money.  Because of this, we are working to give you tons of great information.

What this means is that we don't charge for this information - we do appreciate your support of our sponsors and our gift shop.

A word about cell service in the park.

If you're planning on relying on your device to access our information, you might want to save as much as you can - because the cell service in among those big honkin' rocks is less than optimal.

Our park was recently voted #1 city park in the entire UNITED STATES and #2 in the WORLD!

If you’re looking for information on visiting the Garden, you’ve come to the right place. Not only are we huge fans of this park, I actually volunteer here, answering questions and telling stories.

We're here to answer your questions and maybe even spark ideas about other attractions nearby in Colorado Springs.  From the first-timers to seasoned visitors, there's always something new to see.  Even if it's just the way the sun is playing today on the age-old rocks.

We have a lot of information just for you.

  • Where do I start?
  • How do I get into the park?
  • What should I see?
  • How much does it cost?

Whether you’re just planning your trip or you’re right down the street heading this way, we’re here for you.

Lots of pictures. Lots of basic information. Lots of ideas. And even some fun stuff for the kids.

So, enjoy the website and, even better, enjoy the park!

Here are some links to get you started exploring the Garden of the Gods.

  1. First Stop - Basic information at a glance.
  2. Want to hike? Here’s the trails information.
  3. Biking?
  4. Climbing?
  5. Doing a little plant or animal detective work?
  6. Photography?

I tell my visitors to ask me anything.  If I don't know the answer, I'll make something up.  They laugh.  I laugh.  But, that's what I'm here for, to make sure you get the answers you want.  So, if you don't find the information you're looking for, just ask me.  If I don't know it.  I'll find out.
